Haaril released by Alka Saraogi

In a well attended book release function organised by Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad, Kolkata, noted Hindi novelist Alka Saraogi released the novel Haaril penned by Hitendra Patel. This was followed by a lively discussion on the novel in which Anay, Rishikesh Ray, Itu Singh, Shyamal Bhattacharya, Seraj Khan Batish, Geeta Dubey, Amal Karan Seth, Jitendra Jitanshu, Vijay Sharma and others participated. Hitendra Patel and Vijay Bahadur Singh, the editor of Vaagarth,Hindi magazine, also spoke. In this three hour long discussion almost all speakers praised the work and expressed the wish that this kind of work would be welcomed by enlightened Hindi readership. More than 60 scholars graced the occasion.
